Hello everyone! Welcome to the blog page of our new website!
Here at Falconridge Animal Hospital, we have a wonderful staff headed by two fabulous veterinarians, Dr. Jiselle Crittenden and Dr. Ann Marie Rix. Dr. Rix is also the owner of the practice so if you’re looking for a privately run clinic, you’ve come to the right place.
Between the two of them, Dr. Rix and Dr. Crittenden have experience with a vast array of animals. We’ve seen reptiles, birds, rabbits, rodents, fish, pigs, chickens, and bees, along with dogs and cats, of course. Odds are very good that if you have a pet, regardless of species, our doctors will be able to give guidance on how to keep them healthy.
Along with helping our animal friends, Falconridge Animal Hospital is also a teaching hospital associated with the University of Calgary College of Veterinary Medicine. Through this relationship, we can help teach new and upcoming veterinarians; providing them with plenty of hands-on experience. Right now, we have one veterinary student, Sukhjit, whom you may meet as he shadows Dr. Rix and Dr. Crittenden during their appointments.
Finally, last but certainly not least, is Callie, the clinic cat who runs the show. She’s frequently seen trolling around the clinic at her leisure. She certainly won’t turn down pets or treats.
